Vester and Zona (Hamilton) Cooper
About Me
Vester Cooper was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Antimony, Arkansas, His parents died when he was young. Raised by his grandparents, the orphan managed only a sixth grade education but developed a deep love of storytelling and poetry along with a deep love of God. After marrying Zona (Hamilton) Cooper, the couple moved to Prineville, Oregon, where Vester's love of nature deepened, joining his family and his God as his poetic inspirations. Vester Cooper died beloved of family and respected by church and community on February 12, 2000.
